Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our Post currently has around 3400 members and unfortunately we are not getting the participation in the Dining Room that is necessary to sustain business, therefore we have made the decision to open our Dining Room to the Public for Lunches and Dinner Only Wednesday through Saturday. This is the members Post and we all want to be successful, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let the Officers know. Our membership year for 2015 begins on September 1, 2015. So what does this mean? It means you will need a NEW KEY CARD to enter the Post BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8th, 2014!! ALL REGULAR LIFE, AUXILIARY LIFE, & SONS LIFE MEMBERS may get their new key card now at the canteen. YOU MUST SHOW LIFE MEMBERSHIP CARD AT TIME YOU ARE GETTING KEY CARD, NO EXEMPTIONS!!
Any Regular Member who has paid their dues for 2015 may get their new key card on Fridays & Saturdays from 4-8 PM. YOU MUST SHOW RECEIPT FOR DUES & ALSO HAVE YOUR 2014 MEMBERSHIP CARD SO WE MAY PUT THE 2015 STICKER ON IT. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS SEE ME, ERIC SCHERER, THIS WILL CONTINUE EVERY WEEKEND THROUGH SEPTEMBER. National didn't make this easy for larger Posts such as ours.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be accepting membership renewals at this time and will issue new key cards when you renew. Nina Stein will be handling this for the Ladies.
Son's will need to contact Larry Riedy or Jeff Mettert. As it looks right now you will have to ring the buzzer to gain assess to the Post.
ALL KEY CARDS ARE $1.00, as this helps cover the cost of the key card purchase.

FROM THE SERVICE OFFICER: Attention ALL Veterans of all services and time periods. MAKE SURE you register your DD214 (Discharges) at your local county recorder's office. There is no charge for this. You never know if you will lose your discharge in a fire, flood, tornado or by some other means. By doing this, you will be able to get a certified copy of your discharge at anytime at no charge.

The Son's will be holding a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday, January 18th, 2015 @ Noon. It is $20.00 per team and is open to members and guests. 1st place will be $150.00 based on 24 teams.
