Our membership year for 2015 begins on September 1, 2015. So what does this mean? It means you will need a NEW KEY CARD to enter the Post BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8th, 2014!! ALL REGULAR LIFE, AUXILIARY LIFE, & SONS LIFE MEMBERS may get their new key card now at the canteen. YOU MUST SHOW LIFE MEMBERSHIP CARD AT TIME YOU ARE GETTING KEY CARD, NO EXEMPTIONS!!
Any Regular Member who has paid their dues for 2015 may get their new key card on Fridays & Saturdays from 4-8 PM. YOU MUST SHOW RECEIPT FOR DUES & ALSO HAVE YOUR 2014 MEMBERSHIP CARD SO WE MAY PUT THE 2015 STICKER ON IT. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS SEE ME, ERIC SCHERER, THIS WILL CONTINUE EVERY WEEKEND THROUGH SEPTEMBER. National didn't make this easy for larger Posts such as ours.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be accepting membership renewals at this time and will issue new key cards when you renew. Nina Stein will be handling this for the Ladies.
Son's will need to contact Larry Riedy or Jeff Mettert. As it looks right now you will have to ring the buzzer to gain assess to the Post.
ALL KEY CARDS ARE $1.00, as this helps cover the cost of the key card purchase.

FROM THE CHAPLAIN: We wish to offer condolences to the family and friends of members that passed away in October.
FROM THE SERVICE OFFICER: Attention ALL Veterans of all services and time periods. MAKE SURE you register your DD214 (Discharges) at your local county recorder's office. There is no charge for this. You never know if you will lose your discharge in a fire, flood, tornado or by some other means. By doing this, you will be able to get a certified copy of your discharge at anytime at no charge.

Join Us On Saturday, November 29th for our OSU VS MICHIGAN PARTY - TBD We will be having a Chili Cook Off @ Noon and encourage any Member who is interested to participate!!! There is a $10.00 fee to enter the Chili Cook Off with 100% of money being paid back to the Winners!!! Entry fee must be paid to the Bar by November 22nd to participate. Officer's & Employee's X-Mas Party will be held on Sunday, December 21st, 2014 @ 6:00. The Post will be closing at 5:00 pm.
New Year's Eve Party - December 31st, 2014 - $12.95 Dinner Buffet from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, includes All-U-Can-Eat Buffet, Dessert Table, and Champagne. Entertainment by Mark Schwenn from 6:30 pm until Midnight.
The Post will Close at 5:00 pm on Christmas Eve. And the Post will be closed Christmas Day!!!
The Kitchen will "NOT" be open December 23rd, 24th & 25th.

Attention AMVETS Auxiliary Members: Auxiliary dues are due by December 31st, 2014 and will be $35.00 per year or $260.00 for a Life Membership.
Auxiliary Annual Holiday Craft Show will be Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $1.00, which includes a door prize ticket. Bake Sale, 50/50's, Door Prizes, Food & Beverages Available. Public Welcome. Please look for Postings for more details.

FYI - The Son's Meeting in November has been changed to November 3rd @ 6:30 pm.
Son's would like everyone to know that Sundays are for NASCAR here at the AMVETS. Come in and enjoy the race on one of our Big Screen TV's. Free hot dogs and chips are available during the Race.
Son's will be hosting a Memorial Fundraiser for Christopher G. Perrin featuring Franketti's Original Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner on Sunday, November 9th from Noon to 7:00 pm. There will be Raffles and Entertainment. Drive Thru and Carry Out Available. Cost is $7.00 Per Person and it is Open to the Public.
